The formation of the Party.
The game started with Ghim being sent to follow in his grandfather's footsteps and bring together the Armor of the Beserker. In his quest, he would be sent to the Navigator's Guild to hire a Navigator for this perilous journey. Here in enters, Harkone, a Chaotic Mage and decendent of Dalas Saaltak, and soon to be entwined in the quest laid out before Ghim.
Preparing for the quest, they would come across a Bard who would be telling a tale of a Dwarf and a Chaotic Mage who travels to find the peices require to put a stop to the Evil that threatened all of Therodon. But this tale would not be about Ghim or Harkone. The tale would be of those who were put upon this quest long before them. The perils they would face in their travels. The great Storms, the Spider Gods, the building of Good to triumph over evil. He would sing of a Seer and a Healer. He would sing of a great man who would be lost before his time. He would sing of the battle against the Undead minions who would seek to lay claims to Therodon all in the name of one hateful God. One would sought to rule all things, even the other Gods and Goddesses. They would do all this in the name of Shaitan. And they would come face to face with the Imperial Lords of Order, is this a sign of bad things to come?
And so the adventure begins, a travel upon the flows as Navigators are capable of manipulating. Ghim would followed the journals of Melkym. "Be thee wary of the flows," wrote Melkym and wary Ghim would be. The 'jump' as the Navigators described it would carry Ghim and Harkone away from Jaiman, on their quest to the Ruins of Nof-Keh.
As written in the journals, the two would board The Mermaid Sword, its captain - Ahab - and the crew consisting of Sea Elves and Mariners. The seas would be a treacherous place, as all sorts of creature would seek to attack the boat til finally they reached the Port City of Al-Nar. While exploring, Ghim would find the resting place of his ancestor and his followers. Once more, they would travel aboard a boat - they would be greeted with more ferocious creatures at sea. Several lives would be lost before they reached the Port City of Thorn. Here, they would remain for four days and four nights meeting another by the name of Charin Doiwen, a Seer, who saw the future of two hooded men passing Ghim and Harkone.
Warning them, "Do not attack the men you pass for they will bring an premature end to your quest. Leave them be, for they are more than what they appear." And on their quest, they indeed came across the two warned against and leaving them be, they continued on their quest. Listen, for the Seers know more of our Present, Past and Future than we care to admit. While in this Port City, a weapon would be created for Ghim by a boy who's talents will be known across all the lands of Therodon. Also, they would be joined by another, a Halfling Monk by the name of Cassandra.
Traveling once more, Ghim and Harkone are accompanied by Charin, a decendent of Fresta Doiwen. Their next destination would be the Port City of Talen as written, they would be greeted with smoke and fire. The City having its fair trouble with the minions of the Undead. The first fight against Shaitan's minions. All linked to a house called Orgillion Manor, located in the Village of Sissa. But it would turn out to be more than the trouble of the Undead as there was a powerful curse placed upon the Manor, the original occupant seeking to be brought back from dead. Ghim and Harkone would face their first defeat. Tytus Origillion, and I shall reincorporate the tale....
