Gods of Therodon

The 2 Gods....

Still with me, good. You wish to know more about the Gods and Goddesses of Therodon? Well, let our teachings continue. The image you see above is the painting done by one of the Elf-folks. Their depicting of what Faith and Morpheus may have looked liked. As you may remember from reading the History, Faith and Morpheus came to be self-aware within the void in which we call the Universe.

In the creation of the Universe, two planets collided and caused a tremendous explosion, which resulted in a temporary rift in time and space. The energy that spilled through the rift was absorbed into our world and is the source of all magic here. These Supreme Beings then set about creating the other Gods to watch over Therodon. It is said that the magic found on Therodon was essential to the Gods existence. What do I mean?

Well, without it they would die. Don't look so surprised, Gods can die. Without the magic, they cease to exist. What was that? Oh, what other ways can you kill a God? Now, why would I disclose such information to you? Why would they disclose such information to me? You should be careful of the questions you ask, just because they had to leave our world does not mean they do not still see and hear what goes on.

Now, lets move away from such dreary topics. The Supreme Beings, or The Source which we have named them went about creating the six Gods of Therodon. The Source placed these Gods on our world and left them to their own devices, or so it was said. Yes, yes. We have old paintings of these six Gods.

Now, The Source made each six Gods an opposite of another. Yes, I'll explain.

There is Order and Chaos. Ahh, here are their paintings....

Eleri is the Goddess of Order. Those who follow her follow a precise ritual. They tend to be rigidly scheduled and do not deviate from the path of their day. They tend to dress in pale outfits with the symbol of the Circle representing their following. Eleri's followers known weapon is the sword and shield with Eleri's symbol placed upon both.

Eleri's choice of Essænce falls into three realms. Essence, Channeling, and Mentalism. But many of her followers feel her influence directly through the use of Channeling.

Taws, God of Chaos

Taws is the God of Chaos. Those who follow him follow the inspirations of the dreams given to them by him. They are encouraged to follow their whims and fancies at any given moment. True deviltries of Taws are completely unpredictable and the followers dress in any fashion they chose. The symbol they wear to represent their following of Taws is the 8-pointed Star of Chaos.

Taws' choice of Essænce is the most rarest of magic found on Therodon. Many of his followers keep their secrets well hidden, lest Shaitan try and take the magic away from them. What is that magic you ask? The most rarest of the rare, it is called Arcane Power.....
